Sir Albert (alias Albert Lutz) started to play the piano at the age of seven. At twelve, he entered the Zurich Music Academy. After having obtained a piano teacher’s diploma, he attended the class for concert pianists. He won numerous prizes and appeared as a concert performer in Germany, England, Italy, Brazil, the USA and Switzerland. Up to this point he had mainly been playing classical programmes.
In 1979 ‘Sir Albert’ was created. Under this name, Mr Lutz has played in countless shows and has frequently appeared on radio and television – on the Doppelter Engel and Glückskugel Swiss television programmes, as well as on the German channel ZDF’s Drehscheibe. His two LPs – The Most Fantastic Boogies and Rags and Boogie Magic – have now given rise to a CD with 24 sensational titles.
